1. Why am I losing my hair?
There are many reasons a man or woman will start to have a hair loss problem. Some of them are:
- Hormonal imbalance
- Cosmetic damage from colouring, perming, etc.
- Stress
- Improper hygiene
- Improper diet
- Illness
- Medications
And there are countless other reasons, as well.
2. What if a doctor or a dermatologist has told me there’s “nothing to be done” for my hair loss?
We suggest you talk with us or come and see us. We may very well have an appropriate solution for you. And if we cannot help you, we’ll verify this promptly and not waste your time or money.
3. What are some early warning signs of hair loss?
- Dandruff
- Itching
- Excessive oiliness
- Dryness
- Receding hairline
- Lack of volume
4. Am I eligible for your services?
HRS serves anyone who needs advice on how to stop hair loss and improve his or her hair health and scalp condition. There are no limits on age, gender, ethnic background, colour, or type of hair.
5. I’ve been diagnosed with Alopecia. Can you help?
As it happens, Alopecia is the medical term for baldness, or loss of hair from the head or body. There are different categories of “alopecia” so please contact us or come and visit us to help determine what your situation is.
6. Will the colour of my hair change with treatment?
Your hair will not change colour. Many clients report that their hair is more vibrant or deeper in colour as it thickens.
7. Will my hair loss return after I’ve completed treatment?
Once results are achieved, the hair strength and condition will be improved, enabling it to withstand the elements of everyday life. We’ve never had a client whose hair loss problem recurred.
8. How will I know when I have finished treatment?
Our treatment specialists will do regular checkups to monitor results and measure the degree of results experienced. Once there are no more weak or dormant hairs, treatment is complete.
9. Will I be able to colour or style my hair while I am on the program?
There are many products not recommended for use during your treatment. Products containing a high volume of alcohol, peroxide, or ammonia will strip the hair and scalp of the vital nutrients required to grow thick, healthy hair. We will advise you on the best hair styling products to achieve your desired objectives.
10. How long will my treatments last?
Our specialists will be able to determine the approximate length of time it will take to complete your treatment, based on your unique circumstances. The exact length of time that your treatment lasts will depend on many factors including whether you have stopped using products and methods that interfere with hair growth and whether you need a combination of treatments.
11. Will other people know I am taking treatment?
Most treatment products do not have to be left in and other techniques are not noticeable. Once treatment is complete, your hair can be washed and styled to your preference.
12. How do I know I can trust your products and services?
Canada has very strict guidelines governing health matters and Canadian businesses. Health Canada has some of the strictest regulations in the world. This is contrasts sharply with similar companies operating off-shore. Our client feedback is also a powerful testimony to the quality of our service. We always act in the best interests of our clients.
13. What advantages does your approach have over other remedies like transplant surgery or hairpieces?
Other methods are more expensive, some are irreversible and some are ineffective. We encourage clients to consider re-growing their own hair rather than taking drastic action. We also encourage clients not to waste time and money on products that simply don’t work.
14. Is it affordable?
We have a variety of treatment methods suited to individual needs. Our least expensive method is less than $4 per application. A professional hair analysis will determine the type, frequency and duration of treatments.
